To continue on the idea of making changes to the past from the present moment, we’re happy to digitally announce that drummer Justin Ahlefeld has done a great job picking up our live set and is officially a member of the band!
I wish I had said it sooner but there it is.
If you’ve seen us live since January (except the new years show in Palm Coast where I was drumming) then you’ve seen Justin perform with us and hopefully you feel the way we do about it: he’s the perfect fit.
It’s ok if you haven’t seen us yet, there are more opportunities coming!
The cool thing is that in the short time that he’s been with us, we’ve managed to make some much desired changes to our set and begin introducing songs that aren’t yet recorded. As stated in the previous blog; the are recordings coming so stay tuned in and come see what we’re working with at a show!
We tend to post pictures of fun moments (esp studio silliness and stage antics) on our Instagram, general updates on Facebook, upcoming shows here and Bands in Town, as well as live footage on Youtube. Also, it would be super cool if you streamed our music on Spotify!
Tonight we celebrated St. Patty’s Day (as well as a friend’s birthday) with several other artists and bands. Everyone put it down on the stage and we were happily reminded of how exciting it is to see just how much we can achieve. We’ll need your help to go further! Taking selfies with us and chatting us up before and/or after our set makes us feel fantastic. Some of our fans have made art of/for us while others tell their world about the music we make and the show we perform!
We greatly appreciate you for the encouraging words, the enthusiastic displays of affection, the merch you buy, the shout-outs, and all of your unique ways of telling us that you dig what we’re doing! Every bit counts. Thank you for reading and thank you for supporting us!
